ROBENSO helps private and public Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) to recover numerous recyclable materials efficiently and at a low cost. We develop intelligent, autonomous robots capable of identifying, categorizing and physically sorting recyclables into separate bins according to their type of material.

Fredy Raptopoulos
Fredy Raptopoulos (CTO, Co-Founder) is a Roboticist and Materials Expert with MSc in Advanced Production, Automation and Robotic Systems. He has worked with state of the art machine/deep learning and computer vision technologies for material recognition, localization, categorization. He has long and applied experience in industrial, robotic material recovery systems.
Nikitas Mavrakis
Nikitas Mavrakis (CEO, Co-Founder) is an Environmental Engineer with significant experience in Recycling and Circular Economy. Since 2011, he has served in many positions in the recycling industry as an environmental engineer. He has been involved in several environmental projects and has established collaborations with key players of the Greek and Global recycling market.
